A former home built in 1906 by Guy de Wendel, the ironmaster, the hotel-restaurant "O'Château" will amaze you. Ready for a visit? As we push open the majestic front door, our gaze catches a gleaming white grand piano. Could it be that a musical ambience is just around the corner? After a quick check-in with Patricia and Olivier, it's time to discover the room. The monumental staircase plunges us into the region's industrial past. When it comes to discovering the room, surprise! We're a long way from heavy drapes and tapestries. It's all about purity, sobriety, chic and taste. Contemporary spirit and vintage elegance come together perfectly in these unique decorations behind every door. Even the towels have their own place. The restaurant offers a completely different living space, with a view over the wooded park, inviting guests to dine in complete serenity. For late-nighters, the basement has a Prohibition-style speakeasy atmosphere, offering a range of cocktails, wines, whisky and champagne to prolong the evening before retiring to bed. All in moderation, of course. Are the sculpted Jaumont stone faces there to remind us of our conscience? A mystery!
