The Rocher de Dabo is a natural site offering one of the most beautiful 360° panoramas of the Vosges mountains. It is a remarkable viewpoint over the Vosges forest and the preserved environment of the Dabo region as well as the Lorraine plateau. Come and discover all its mysteries and follow in the footsteps of the past!

From the immense Vosges forest emerges, at an altitude of 664m, the legendary Rocher de Dabo. Formed over 200 million years ago, the "Rocher" is a block of pink sandstone measuring 30 m high, 80 m long and 26 m wide. A Celtic place of worship, the Rock was topped by a medieval castle which was destroyed in 1690 on the orders of Louis XIV. The current chapel is dedicated to Pope Leo IX, a local child.
The Rock can be seen all year round but access to the platform is regulated during the winter.
