A concentrate of local history to see and experience!

Back to the school benches of our grandparents! It is not a history lesson that awaits you in these restored 20th century classrooms but a real plunge into the heart of the last century. Thanks to the museum's various thematic rooms, you will discover old agricultural machines and tools, as well as old forgotten trades such as wheelwrights, basket makers, coopers...

This museum, located in the former village girls' school, is promoted and maintained by the SHAG (Society of History and Archaeology of Grosbliederstroff).

Also on the programme: geology and other archaeological features of the commune, religious practices in the region, the 1870 war and two world conflicts which had a strong impact on the locality.
