Discovery tour of the Schlossberg park, an exceptional natural setting in the heart of Forbach, and its Tower, a symbol of the town of Forbach since the Middle Ages.
A visit between nature and history through the park and its 80 species of trees. You'll discover the history and secrets of this park, the city's green lung. Afterwards, you'll discover one of Lorraine's rare vestiges dating back to the Middle Ages, the Schlossberg castle, symbol of the town.
Dating back to the 13th century, this Renaissance-style building stands in the middle of the park. You'll have the pleasure of discovering it in a privileged way, by entering the knights' hall, where you'll be reminded of moments in history. Then, you'll take the 118-step staircase to climb to an altitude of 328m and enjoy an incomparable panoramic view of the surrounding area.
Please note: this tour is not accessible to everyone, as it involves steep inclines, paths and steps.
