For his latest creation, Alexander Vantournhout—as curious and playful as ever—invites us to rethink the way we see things. Inspired by the concept of the frame, he transforms public space into a visual and physical playground. In the heart of Parc Explor Wendel, he has installed a series of pavilion-like structures where spectators are invited to move from one frame to the next, guided by the virtuosic performances of his artists and carried along by the soundscape of the surrounding space. Both visually and sonically, the environment thus becomes an integral part of the performance, offering the audience a new perception of space. True to his approach that blends dance, circus, and physical exploration, Alexander Vantournhout presents a particularly inventive piece at the intersection of art and architecture.
