The guided tour of the Simon Quarry in Schoeneck offers a 2-hour immersion into the heart of a former 87-hectare mining site. You’ll discover a canyon-like landscape shaped by sand extraction by the Houillères du Bassin de Lorraine, featuring a forming lake and a resurgent biodiversity. From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Registration required.
