Every month, a new fun and collaborative challenge!
The October 2025 challenge is to collectively ride 11,200 km: you’re free to ride wherever and whenever you want—just remember to activate the free Geovelo app on your smartphone while you’re riding. The kilometers you ride will be added to the total for the “Collectif Vélo Forbach Porte de France” virtual community.
109 people have already signed up for this virtual team (which logged 12,341 km during the September challenge). Whether you ride a little, a lot, or are a passionate cyclist—whether you’re out for a leisurely ride, exercising, commuting to work, or running errands—and whether you ride a regular bike or an e-bike: you’re welcome to join!
To join, install the Geovelo app on your smartphone, create an account, click “Community,” click “+,” enter the code BSCOZP, and finally confirm.
European Mobility Week took place from September 16 to 22, 2026, in many European cities. This annual initiative by the European Commission highlights sustainable modes of transportation and demonstrates how mobility can be greener, smarter, and more equitable.
In 2026, European Mobility Week focused on the theme “Mobility for All”: ensuring that everyone, regardless of age, income, place of residence, gender, or abilities, can move about freely. The 2026 edition placed particular emphasis on intergenerational equity, recognizing that mobility needs evolve throughout life. Children, young adults, working-age adults, and older adults face different realities and challenges in their daily commutes.
