While the general public will forever associate him with his choreography for the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games opening ceremony, Philippe Decouflé has never stopped reinventing his art, blending dance and circus apparatus—an extension of the body—with diverse influences in a way that is rarely seen.
In *Entre-Temps*, he brings together people of all ages—from renowned performers (notably the magnificent Dominique Boivin) to amateurs—to explore a wide range of genres that bring together majorettes and Madonna, vaudeville and folk dances, Barbara and Gloria Gaynor! A retrospective of the artists and eras that have influenced him—a slightly nostalgic yet oh-so-joyful celebration of his masters: Hitchcock and Glass, Buster Keaton and Fellini, Bausch and Larrieu.
