Le Centre Pompidou-Metz parvis des Droits-de-l'Homme

The Centre Pompidou-Metz is hosting the first retrospective in France dedicated to Shigeru Ban, the architect who designed the building in collaboration with Jean de Gastines. In an exceptional move, he is curating the exhibition himself, inviting the public to immerse themselves in his world to discover his ideas, his inspirations, and his humanistic commitment. The exhibition design for Gallery 3, also conceived by Shigeru Ban, takes the form of a vast arched colonnade made of cardboard tubes. Bathed in a subtle interplay of light and shadow, it draws the eye toward the view overlooking the cathedral.
