“At 11:11 a.m., there’s only one wish to make: to get your visa.
The visa becomes the source of an obsession, the object of prayers, and the last thing on one’s mind before falling asleep. Applying for a visa becomes a spiritual journey rather than an administrative one. For we must always keep faith in a system that works against us.
‘good frequency 4 a VISA application’ depicts this process through a video installation. It explores the links between bureaucracy and migration, ultimately creating a digital map of delusion.”
