Teresa Minnillo, an Italian musicologist, researcher, and performer, has been exploring the connections between music, poetry, and sung lyrics for several years. Trained in classical guitar and flute, and holding degrees in music performance and musicology, she now divides her time between research, European cultural projects, and live performances. Through her voice and guitar, she brings to life some of the most poignant works of Italian song: from Neapolitan roots to Domenico Modugno, from Gino Paoli to Luigi Tenco, from Sergio Endrigo to Fabrizio De André and Lucio Battisti. Songs of love, memory, departure, and life, in which the words and music each tell, in their own way, the story of a certain Italy. Free admission.
