Viewpoints - Orientation tables, Mountain landscapes - Peaks - Straw fields in VOLMERANGE LES MINES .
This hill is 428 m high. It overlooks Volmerange-les-Mines on one side and offers some stunning views on the other. During the 1940 campaign, the 4th Hussar Regiment and the 130th Infantry suffered heavy losses at this site, used to observe the fortified area. Only one grave remains in the military cemetery, that of Private Raymond Lerouge. His brothers-in-arms, who fell with him, have all been moved since. Today, it is a take-off site for paragliders, with Cattenom power station on the horizon.
