Historic monument or place to visit in PANGE, on the theme(s) Architecture, awarded with the Label Listed historic monument (MH).
Set on the banks of the peaceful Nied river, this sober, elegant château was built in 1720 by Jean-Baptiste Thomas, Marquis de Pange, on the site of an ancient fortress.
The de Pange family still lives here, where busts, paintings and engravings evoke its history. In 2003, the new gardens, designed by landscape architect Louis Benech as part of the "Jardin sans limites" cross-border network, were inaugurated.
