No stranger to taking unexpected turns, even after a forty-year career, Stephan Eicher continues to surprise us, whether accompanied by a brass band, a chamber orchestra, or even automatons. This time, he becomes the storyteller of his own life—much to our delight!
He co-wrote this show with director François Gremaud, whose subtle brand of humor he discovered during lockdown and with whom he shares a taste for bad jokes. Thanks to this collaboration, Stephan Eicher’s long-cherished dream is finally coming true: he’s performing on stage. With his inimitable voice and charming accent, he takes us through different eras of his career, from his punk beginnings in the ’80s with the band Grauzone to his album *Poussière d’or*, released in 2025. Accompanied by his guitar, named Martin, he switches between the piano and a few vintage instruments, including a family-heirloom accordion.
A moment suspended in time, shared intimately with the audience.
